Poem: Hugging Trees 🌿

 There I was

Amongst the trees,

Hugging these beings,

In nature, where I am happiest and free,

Time stood still.

I felt its energy encapsulating me,

I felt its energy vibrating through me,

I felt such deep joy and release.

Nothing to control or worry about.

I just was: me without labels or things on my mind.

For a few minutes

I thought about nothing but the deep gratitude I felt

In those woods, on that sunny April day;

I cried tears of release, joy and certainty

Because higher power was telling

It's all okay:

I'm abundant, blessed and free.

Grateful for these sacred, huggable beings,

Grateful for all the beautiful nature guiding me.
