Poem: Into the Wild

I knew. I just knew.

I felt it in my bones

And in my soul.

Stardust. Smiles.

Maybe we crossed paths in another life.

I knew. I just knew.

We walked, we laughed.

We shared, we opened up.

As easy as breathing

It was between us.

Stardust. Smiles.

Magic and expanding love.

Minutes turned into

Unforgettable hours

And I undeniably knew, it just was.

More than a year and a half has gone by now and

I want to continue walking by your side

Into our infinity to come.

...

 Meet me halfway

In the intersection of our dreams

And keep holding me tight,

Forever and now.

We’ll venture into the fray

And into the wild.

Excitedly

we’ll leave this land behind,

Together I will fear not.

To satisty our unquenchable

Thirst for adventure,

Forward we’ll go:

We’ll walk, we’ll climb, we’ll run;

We’ll enjoy the sights

And proudly we’ll smile.

We’ll keep making memories,

Well create unapologetically.

We’ll laugh when lost in translation,

And we’ll keep learning with each inhalation.

...

These myriad sights I wish to see

share one thing and that's

you and me.

I crave to be wild and free

And to marvel at the skies

with your arms around me.

These days will come,

Spirits in the wild.
